Appalachian Motorcycling

Howdy

This is my place in West Virginia for the fun stuff I enjoy with my wife, critters, family and friends. Here you will find a lot about Motorcycling, on a GL1800A-TE GoldWing of course. A bit about Bluegrass that moves my soul. Some about the Berkeley Springs and Potomac Railroad and model railroading. And I can't forget WVU Football

Howdy from Kent

Posted By admin on January 1, 2009

It’s a beautiful sunny and cold day here in the Eastern Panhandle of WV.   Today starts my first day blogging on my activities for this new year.  Stop by from time to time and I’ll be sharing the motorcycle rides I’ll be taking in 2009 as well as any bluegrass news that may come up in the area.  You’ll see some railroad and model railroad updates and links to photos.  Railroading and riding always seen to get tied together while on trips.

My bike is a 2004 Honda GoldWing GL1800A-TE.  Its an ABS equipped GoldWing with the after market Traxxion suspension front and rear upgrade along with the fork brace and All-Balls steering head bearings.  This makes for a fantastic ride setup for twisties fun and long day mile eating.

Finally, This is a milestone year as I will be turning 50 in April.  I plan to get some fun stuff accomplished this year to help me celebrate.
